One day, there was a 24 year old boy seated beside a train’s window and he shouted…
“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
His father smiled. Then a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed…
“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”
The couple couldn’t resist and said to his father…
“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”
The father smiled and said…
“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.”
Disclaimer: Story above is not mine
There is always another side of the story. Let us not judge people before we truly know them. The truth might surprise us. Most of the time, we have a tendency to rush in and have our conclusion without knowing the full story only to catch ourselves wrong. This often leads to conflicts and damaged relationships. A damaged relationship is very hard to restore.
How many times have we been quick to judge others? Let us not judge a book by its cover. There is always a story behind every person, why he or she acts that way.
There are also times that we take things for granted. We are able to see, hear, walk, eat, drink and sleep comfortably. Our needs are being provided for everyday.
Why not be thankful to God for the little things you have today?
